Solar Capital Partners, LLC (“SCP”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a leading independent asset manager with significant permanent capital focused on delivering flexible debt capital solutions to U.S. based middle-market businesses. We seek to generate attractive returns for investors by directly originating and managing diversified private debt portfolios. The SCP platform, including affiliates, consists of approximately 165 employees located across 14 offices. SCP advises on over $6.0 billion1 of investable capital across its BDCs, private credit funds, and SMAs.

Diversified Platform

From our foundation as a cash flow lender, SCP has evolved into a diversified commercial finance business through de novo development and acquisition of specialty finance businesses whose investment strategies include: corporate debt, asset-based lending, factoring, equipment finance, and life science lending. Our affiliates, Crystal Financial and Nations Equipment Finance, and Gemino Healthcare Finance and North Mill Capital LLC, are non-consolidated, wholly-owned commercial finance portfolio companies of Solar Capital Ltd. and Solar Senior Capital Ltd., respectively. Together, they are an integral part of the SCP platform and financing solution set.

Partnership Approach

By leveraging the breadth of SCP’s platform, our investment teams are able to work collaboratively with borrowers to structure creative financing solutions that best address their specific requirements. SCP’s partnership approach fosters long-term relationships with our portfolio companies and their financial sponsors. Importantly, our scale and diversified financing alternatives allow SCP to grow with our companies.

Since inception in 2006, we have adhered to a disciplined investment philosophy which prioritizes preservation of capital, alignment of interests, and domain expertise. As a result, SCP has been successful generating attractive risk-adjusted returns across market cycles.
